Here’s a (growing) list of open source business software that can be used for both business and personal use.  It ranges from software to run underlying business infrastructure, to the end user desktop experience.

Wine - Open Source Windows Emulator, for running Windows applications on Linux and other operating systems.

OPEN SOURCE ERP / MRP SOFTWARE

 

OfBiz - VERY comprehensive ERP & MRP software. This has been going some years and is now part of the Apache   foundation.

OpenERP - Open source, community and commercially backed ERP product – looks very strong, and I’ll be investigating it further! Now called Odoo

OpenCRX – very strong, true opensource CRM software.

ERPNext - a relative newcomer to the ERP Scene but with great potential
